Why not? It would be something different like Darth Maul's staff lightsaber. Just gotta get someone trained well on using nunchuks and I think the effects would be pretty cool. Like Maxi from Soul Calibur.

Because it would be retarded and ridiculous. Lightsaber Nunchucks. That's some George Lucas-type bullshit.

No, that ain't be no nunchuk action.
Did you watch that video Wylde posted? That robot shit doesn't even come close to what you can do with nunchuks. Hell, Napoleon Dynamite can probably handle nunchuks better than that robot. I forget his name but I remember that scene and it was stupid.
That scene reminds me of this
Sorry, I have no idea why the hell I'm even talking about this. The new Star Wars isn't even that good. Hell, the original wasn't even that good. I doubt the series will ever get better no matter what. If anything, I just want to watch cool lightsaber fights.
In other news: I have decided I will be dropping Android and going back to using an iPhone. Android OS sucks. No matter what you do, the system just starts slowing down. I reset my phone like once a year and I only install like five apps right when I set the phone up and never install anything else. The system just starts to eat shit after a couple of months. The battery starts draining a little faster, the whole phone slows down just a bit more as time goes by. I'm tired of this shit. Android is such a piece of shit operating system. Sure, it's customizable and Apple has had practically zero changes to its OS save for cosmetics but hell, at least Apple phones handle daily tasks 100x better than Android.
For the record, I've had two Android phones: Samsung Galaxy S4 (was pretty okay) and an HTC One M8. The HTC is my current phone. It's okay but it has the symptoms I described above. Phone lag which creeps up slowly just from using the phone over time without installing anything new.

But nunchuck lite-sabers are equally ridiculous. How do they hold them if both ends are weapons? IF only one piece is a LS, then what's the point? All that can do is whirl them around. Can't do any Bruce Lee shit because they'll cut through their own bodies.

Good move.
How often do Apps need updating on Androids?
I found that every other week half a dozen apps need updating on my iPhone. It's annoying, but keeps everything fresh and running well.

I think the amount of updates is likely the same. I don't even upgrade the apps because sometimes, with Android, they screw things up even more. The way I see it, if I fresh-install Android and apps, and then never touch them, they should stay running well without a need to update. Maybe I'm wrong. But I've had updates break my shit in the past so I avoid updating anything in my phone unless I'm doing a fresh re-install of the OS.
I want the iPhone X but that damn phone is like $1,000 USD not including tax. Geez.

It's why I still have a 7, even though it's cracked and the camera is fucked. Too expensive. So expensive that the 7 is still close to retail price. They haven't dropped the price at all. I wouldn't be surprised if they've sold just as many 7's in the time the 8 and the X have been out, simply because of the upped prices.
Cunts.

By robot you're referring to the Inquisitor? They aren't btw but their Sabers are bad ass. They're like Swiss army knives. It allows a full on Blitzkrieg to overwhelm the opponent and it also can be thrown like a boomerang of death or allows for some good old fashioned solo one man helicopter flight.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Apple just admitted to slowing down phones recently, some student figured out that they were slowing batteries of older phones to force the customer to upgrade or some shit like that. Don't know the exact details but I've always hated Apple from their phones to their computers. I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I've had it for a year, it's pretty fast for me. S4 is obviously slower but I would try out their S7 or S8 and see just how fast they are. My sister owns an S7 and it's incredibly fast and charges insanely fast too. Best of luck with your decision though!

I read about that and also took a look at Apple's written explanation on their website. Their reason is bullshit on its face but does make some sense if the battery is aging. But a battery doesn't age as quickly as they claim which is why I think Apple is talking shit. They make it sound like any phone over two years old will shut down abruptly multiple times a day because the phone is taxing the battery too much.
But you know something? Even if this is all true, Apple fans will still upgrade their phones every year and buy everything Apple releases. This is not "bad press" for Apple. If anything, it will just give everyone an excuse to keep upgrading on a yearly basis. "Apple says my battery is going to cause my phone to shut off when I use my phone. I better upgrade now to avoid any problems!"
Apple is fucking brilliant. And they know it.
That being said, I'll still be getting an Apple. Android fucking sucks way too much. The only way I'll stay with Android is if I get the latest and greatest phones every year for free. I won't be upgrading my phone yearly but I'd much rather give Apple my money than use another piece of shit Android.

I was reading that. It's not her though. She took money so she can't say shit, but someone she knew back then has come forward saying she knew about it, and it went on for a year.
Obviously her unsuccessful porn career hasn't offered her much once it ended, since no one has ever heard of her, so now it's time to go public.
Has a US President ever gone through a divorce whilst being in office?

I knew who she was, she starred in Steve Carrell's box of porn way back in 40 Year Old Virgin.

Re: Random Thoughts
Check this shit out....
An unexpected consequence of the recent tax legislation is that Apple may acquire Netflix. According to Citi analysts, "There is a 40% chance Apple will acquire Netflix," Business Insider reports. "The cut in corporate taxes, along with a one-time allowance for companies to repatriate cash stored overseas without a major tax hit, will give Apple a much larger cash warchest to buy new companies." And Netflix could be a good acquisition target because "Apple has for years struggled to offer a compelling TV or movie offering. iTunes has been a huge hit for the company, but viewers have migrated increasingly to services like Netflix, Amazon or Hulu to watch their favourite shows."
Re: Random Thoughts
Streaming viewers who pay by the month for Amazon Prime benefits, which include free shipping as well as entertainment offerings, will now pay $12.99 a month.
The new rate is 18% higher than the previous rate of $10.99. The cost of a full-year Prime membership will remain $99 and the yearly rate for students will also stay at $49.
The monthly rate hike is taking effect today, affecting any monthly renewals after Feb. 18.
High churn rates have been a growing concern for many streaming services. Amazon’s decision to favor long-term subscribers over monthly ones gives it more of a hedge against subscribers dropping the service after their favorite show ends. That risk will only increase as the SVOD looks for broad-appeal, epic series amid a major executive leadership transition. Its forthcoming show Lord of the Rings is the first in this new line, as more niche fare like One Mississippi and I Love Dick have been abandoned.
The pricing change also comes as Prime has reached a membership milestone. In a research note earlier this month, Cowen analyst John Blackledge estimated the service has 60 million U.S. members, a new record level 20% higher than last year’s.
About 54% of U.S. households are now Prime subscribers, up from 18% in 2013, Blackledge said. “We expect rising Prime penetration in 2018 to continue as we have seen no clear indications of slowing demand for Prime,” he wrote.
Other estimates have been even higher than Blackledge’s. Amazon itself has not released official Prime membership data.

I welcome a total shutdown of the government but Trump just didn't want his pesky government interfering with his golf and whores.
As for Van Helsing, I was posting in the thread all season long, but you like everybody else here just chose to ignore me while I ranted away all alone....

In about another month or two I should be back to a more normal schedule with crap.
I still haven't watched Breaking Bad. Rumor has it the show is pretty okay.

What kind of reno and are you contracting or DIY?
Breaking Bad is a fairly decent show I've heard from a person or two on the internets.

The entire first floor had to be gutted. The previous owners never even insulated the first floor. It's fucking crazy. You know how cold it can get here in NY during the winter and they freakin' had zero insulation.
I have contractors, a family friend. There is no way I could do all the work myself. I mean I helped with some basic crap. Putting up drywall, wiring the house with my HT crap, painting, and some other small stuff.
It's coming together. Plumbing and electrician inspections went without a hitch. Now I just have to finish up the rest of the house and get that certificate of occupancy so I can finally move the hell in.
Yay

No Insulation on an entire floor???? Your heating bills must be crazy if you're currently in it!
Sounds like a lot of work, I don't think I'd even try to do that by myself.
Did you get your own place that needed work before you could move in or was this your parents place?
Re: Random Thoughts
Yea. It was insane. We tapped the wall and said "Hold up. Why the hell does it sound hollow? It doesn't sound like there's insulation. Let's just take a look......" Ripped off a piece of the wall, empty. Then we did a few more test holes. We were shocked. So we had to tear out all of the walls. Like it wasn't just the living room which didn't have insulation. IT WAS THE ENTIRE FUCKING FIRST FLOOR!!!! WTF
When I got this place, I knew it was gonna take some work because I wanted to make it my own. I just had no idea it would take so much. But it's fine. The house is small but when it's done, it will be pretty pimp.
When buying a house, I quickly realized it will never be where you buy a house as soon as you walk in and say "OMG this is it! My dream home!". That doesn't happen unless you approach homes which cost a million+. I got to the point where my attitude was "Okay, this house sucks pretty bad, but I can make it work." When you buy a house, the house will be 70% your dream wishlist, 20% is fixable, 10% is stuff you hate which cannot be fixed or modified which you will learn to live with.
This is my own place. My momma still lives in Queens. I'm still in Queens until this place gets fixed up. Then I be out, yo!

The windows in the house are actually okay. We kept what was already there but we did take them out and re-seat them because they were flush with the inside wall. We pushed them outward so there is at least a proper windowsill. We also re-sealed them and patched it all up nicely. For now, the windows are staying.
There is a company here in Long Island called Renewal by Andersen (https://www.renewalbyandersen.com/) and they are some of the most sought-after windows here in NY. Whenever you are at an open house, the sellers always make sure you know they have Andersen windows. If we replace anything, we will be using Andersen.
I would definitely recommend you get good windows. A lot of heat is lost through windows in the winter (and cold also in the summer). You know how brutal the winter was just a couple of weeks back with the three weeks worth of sub-10 degree temperatures. Don't skimp on good windows and make sure you get reputable people installing them so they do it right.

That's the plan. All the windows have to be replaced as well as the basement windows. All the windows in this house are fucked up. Heat bill is starting to get higher, last one was $250.

Garlic is something I use almost never and only ever with Spaghetti since people love Garlic bread with it so much. It's way too foul for the reasons mentioned.
