But I do love how they're apparently now creating Simulator games they way they used to created "Idiot's Guide to..." Books for everything.

Damn, these UFC games are crazy in depth now. I remember when UFC games were pure button mashing and virtually nothing else certainly not with a crazy detailed and very current feeling career mode like this. You have to build your fighters online presence and you can start shit at weigh-ins and trash talk your opponents publicly to build your fan base!? And you can back yard fight?!?!!? That's fuckin crazy....

Depends on the number of games for me. I'm not in a hurry to get it on release. Plus, I still haven't seen them show a black version. No way I'm putting that white console with my setup.

I have too many games on PS4 I need to catch up. I will likely be purchasing the PS5 in three or four years based on the speed at which I am playing my PS4.

Also, I need to upgrade my receiver to 4K before I do anything else.

I do play a lot of GTA5, Devil May Cry 4, Devil May Cry (DmC), and RPG's like Tales of Berseria and Battle Chasers.

It seems that you and I play very different kinds of games with GTA5 being the sole exception, though that's kind of a hard game to hate.

The first year that GTA5 was out I played it every single day online and had lots of fun but once the PS4 dropped I wasn't getting too many of the online updates anymore. I quit playing and haven't in over five years but I saw that they kept releasing content for the game up until last year which is just mind blowing. Any word on GTA6?

I'm interested in checking out CyberPunk 2077, the Mafia Definitive Edition 1-3 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla but I don't think that's enough titles for me to buy a new system for, especially when Valhalla is the sole PS5 title I'm interested in at this time.

PS4 was for gaming but I never got into as much as I was expecting, but with the 5 also having a UHD blu-ray drive, I'll be getting it for both. I didn't realize the UHD drive was included, very nice. The included BD player was why I bought my original PS3 and used it for so many years.

I don't even know if I've played a full hour's worth of gaming on the PS4 and it's been about 2 or 3 years since I even touched one.

I am still loving my 55" TCL 4K Roku TV, it was around $400 two years ago and I haven't regretted that purchase once.

I am intrigued by Gotham Knights. Thankfully, that is coming to PS4, too, so I have no need to splurge on the 5.

The game looks like it was designed more to look pretty and show off the PS4 capabilities than anything else. Of course, I am judging a book by its cover. Does not seem like a game I would enjoy but that might be where your comment about having different tastes in games is meaningful.

It reminds me a lot of the Assassin's Creed franchise and I thought that video looked like fun.

Viking, Samurai, Pirate, Cowboy, Mafioso, Vault survivor, GTA Drug dealer, the weapons and the clothes may change but plundering and murdering my way across time will always be my jam. White hats don't fit me.

Yeah, it's a very good open world game and it looks like you're able to do a whole lot more in the sequel. Looking forward to it.

Nice, I'd never even heard of of Zero Dawn before I saw the sequel's trailer.

Don't they usually release an updated version after the initial one? One with double the storage, or some new feature. Just because PS tragics will double dip, so they sell more consoles.

I like the white Playstation.

I hope the performance of the digital version is the same as the disc version. What I mean is, I hope the internal components are the same and the disc version isn't like the Bro version of the original PS4 or something. That would be whack.

If that PS5 digital version goes down to $250 on a Viernes Negro at some point, I will definitely consider it.

Yep, they always do. If that's the case then I might have to wait a while but I'm in no rush to get one anyway.

They did announce God of War Ragnarok which was EPIC!

Dang, I missed this post. I forgot about the refresh models.

The original Playstation 3 came out in November 2006. The Playstation 3 Slim came out in September 2009 but this was actually a slight step backwards as it lacked the hardware capability of being backwards compatible with Playstation 2 games.

The original Playstation 4 came out in November 2013. The Bro version came out in November 2016.

Maybe the PS5 v2 will have better hardware. If the releases follow the previous trends, I guess I'm waiting for three years!
