I think I can agree with you about RDJ and even Ben Stiller. They are okay to me but nothing which makes me say I would want to watch everything they are in like the way I feel about Tom Cruise.

Still, I thought Tropic Thunder was alright. Nothing incredible but definitely enough funny moments in it to have me laughing.

The week is almost halfway over, fellas. I gotz a short week due to the observance of July 4 on Friday the 3rd. Can't wait to have an extended weekend so I can stay home and do nothing.

I did a load of laundry earlier with Persil. Bought 450ml for $40 from Amarzon. My basement smells so damn good now.

Some actors click for me and I want to see all of their movies, others I don't give a damn about and would be fine never seeing again. I'm not saying that RDJ, Stiller and Bateman are bad actors they have talent I just do not connect with them and they bore me endlessly.

The entire situation that has played out at Ford Hood over Vanessa Guillen, has exposed what an absolute cluster fuck the military is and how little security their bases actually have. It's just endless top down corruption.

Also, the US set another single record yesterday with 46,000 new confirmed COVID cases on Tuesday.

So this fucking kid and his friend carjacks someone. That person is pissed and chases him (apparently) in another car. This kid's "streetwalker sister" tells him to head to the CHOP because he will be safe there. So she wants to help hide a fucking criminal piece of shit. So he drives to the CHOP and CHOP security opens fire on his dumb ass and kills him.

He was a great kid. Always smiling. He was turning over a new leaf. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He was really into his education and wanted to be a doctor and make a difference. He didn't deserve this.

What a fantastic twist to this story.

Every single article about him was worse and worse, they were taking that dude apart piece by piece so for his sake it's better that he died. Just a few days ago his wife was talking about how he was in need of a double lung transplant.

But I feel sorry for his wife who was spent 95 days living in the hospital watching him slowly die from a distance unable to touch him or talk with him again and after all Nick's surgeries he died anyways. They have a one year old child too.

The doctors took a leg, gave him a trach and both his lungs were shot. He had numerous lung and blood infections and the longer he stayed in the hospital the more pieces they took off him.

He should have died 95 days ago and gave his family some peace instead of making his wife sit through endless surgeries and telling her he still had a chance only to die three months later anyways and with the added benefit of massive medical bills.

Fucking hell. I'm sure he had ample insurance to cover all of his bills and such. I read up on him and he seemed to be quite the star in theater. I'm sure he had excellent insurance and life insurance for sure so in that aspect, Hopefully, his wife is fully covered with the bills.

All due to Corona and also being in a hospital breeding ground for infections. Like I always tell you guys, going to the hospital is a good way to die.

Insurance companies and hospitals always find a way to fuck over the patients and their families.

Joey, did you ever try the baking soda and sugar method for your ant problem? I've been using it quite a bit lately, more ants and slugs than I've ever seen before all over my yard and house.

Yo. It's been a long couple of days.

I have not used the sugar method. I sprayed my house foundation with the Ortho and have not had any issues since. So far so good.

I, too, am curious about Russ' neighbor situation.

Also, I finaly got a new phone. Got the iPhone SE in white. I can't believe how fast this phone is. I should have switched a long time ago.

Neighbour is gone. He got booted. Barely saw him the last few weeks. Not long after I started staying at my parents, he got into it with a few of the other neighbours - threw a brick through one guys window, and generally being a fuckwit. Apparently about 7 of them went around his place yelling at him to come out so they could kick the shit out of him. They didn't hear a peep from him after that.

The landlords kicked him out - but I'm not going back. Fuck it. They were tearing it down in the next 12 months, so we were all fucked anyway.

On an unrelated note, I know a few of you guys mentioned being fans of Schumacher's Batman Forever and I just read that a 170 minute directors cut exists that might make it's way to HBO Max in the future. FYI, the theatrical cut was only 129 minutes and was apparently severely edited because the original cut was much darker and dealt with Bruce's tortured and broken psyche. So you guys might get to see an additional 40 minutes of movie that I never knew existed before.

On an even more unrelated note, Mary Kay LeTourneu has died of cancer at 58. Her story was a wild one and was a constant source of news during my childhood because she was a Seattle teacher at the time of the scandal.

I didn't know there was a director's cut either. 40 minutes is a lot, I'd check it out.

I can't believe you remember about her too Rust. That news was big enough even in Australia to remember two and a half decades later? I just thought it was big time because it happened so close to me.

I remember Mary Kay LeTourneu as my childhood introduction to teacher sex scandals, before her I had no idea that was even a thing but after her, I never looked at my female teachers the same ever again.....
