Have been there. Had two dogs that both had to be put down in the same 12 months. It fucking sucked. I was gutted when the time came - they were actually brother & sister from the same litter by my brothers dogs. Most definitely family.

It's been about 3 years since they've been gone, and I still dream about them as vividly as anything else.

Damn Rust, that sounds like a rough year for both you and your dogs. I've never had two animals at once so when one goes it's usually years before I get another.

People come and go and in my experience nearly always from their own stupid or selfish actions but your animals are always around and for the last 7 years every day that I left the house I had to take her into account and what she'd need before I left. I live alone so she's been my constant companion under foot or by my side everywhere I went for 7 years and now she's just gone, I'm definitely feeling the void.

Her nails clicked across the wood floors constantly, she was always at the front window or door when I got home and always happy to see me. We'd go for runs in the woods in the mornings and now I'm looking at the sun about to rise and it's just me and I'll come home to silence, it's such a strange shift of energy.

Visited Lyndhurst Mansion last night. Lots of films were made there, one of them being the 1970 Dark Shadows. So I thought it was going to be a tour of the mansion showing us cool things. But it turned out it was like a comedy show and they had little skits happening all around the mansion.

We were greeted by the Mad Hatter, met a female Merlin, Rumpelstiltskin, Gretel, and a few others. The story was everyone was looking for Alice. It was heavily implied the Alice was Alice in Wonderland. But when we got to the very end, Alice was a "Alice Cooper"!!! LOL hilarious. I was thinking "What the heck is going on in here?" all night but the end was really funny. Apparently, Alice Cooper was running for president.

I never understood why anyone thought she would win. Edit: Just checked my Amarzon account and the last one I purchased was Blood: The Last Vampire live-action. It's SyFy-quality film but it's entertaining enough. Plus, the video and audio qualities are pretty dope. Maybe I'll watch that one back-to-back with DOA: Dead or Alive this weekend. Who knows! Anything can happen.

Dave Chappelle hosted SNL last night with a Tribe Called Quest as musical guest. I hadn't seen Dave in so damn long but he killed it. The episode was one of the best I've seen from SNL in a very long time.

For whatever reason I haven't been able to sign on to the board from my iPad. I go through the Login process but it doesn't actually log me in. I'm logged in on my iPhone right now without issue. I don't get it.

That's odd, I use my iphone from time to time to sign in and have never had a problem...

I can't seem to find any reasoning or new posts about the topic but usually when a glitch happens here it's solved with a few days. Or has it been awhile already?
