I gots no problem with that. Nothing wrong with more members. It's also non intrusive, and can be minimized out of site if not desired.

I was gonna ask the same thing, they're lame! But we constantly have guests.........just nobody has joined....at all.

The only similarity is the topics usually share a word. It's only going form tags, not actual subject matter.

Just checked the old forum. No-one's posted there in 5 days. Awesome!

I dropped by earlier to and it's a wasteland.

I don't know if it was bothering you guys as much as it was me but the threads would only allow 15 posts per page and for me that was just too few cause we seem to tear right through that, so I bumped it to 30 posts per page, the same as on the old BDTV. So if you notice a sudden page count drop this is the only reason why.

Actually, yes, that was bothering me a lot. I like to have 40 or 50 replies per page. I do that on all the other forums I frequent. 30 is much better than 15. +rep, y0!

Yeah that's good. I usually change my "posts per page" to the maximum, but this forum it couldn't be done individually.

Wow....do you guys really like 40-50 posts per page on most of your other forums? This is the only forum I use so I don't really know the norm I just assumed that many would make it harder to navigate on phones for you guys that use us that way.

I do. 40 per page seems to be the max with most forums, and I prefer it that way. A bunch of info on 1 page is better than trying to sort through 6 pages.

Has anyone tried bringing in members from Blu-ray Forums? I was thinking about reaching out since there are a lot of members over there. I think they would enjoy the freedom that this forum offers discussing movies and TV shows. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't do that if you still want to post on blu-ray.com. If you PM someone who reports you to mods, you will receive a permanent ban there. That happened to Wylde when he first started BDTV on activeboard.

We're the island of misfit toys, nobody ever seeks us out. Our newest member was Gamma and he joined like a year and a half ago, lol. I gave up on every making this anything, I can't compete with Blu-Ray.com they've got hundreds of thousands of members and we've got about 8.

I hate that they change your settings every once in a while so that their movie links redirects to Amarzon. So fucking sneaky. I make sure to delete all my cookies when that happens so they can't get my credit when I purchase.

I do enjoy reading their reviews. I base a lot of my blu-buying on their ratings of video and audio. Kenneth Brown, Svet Atanasov, and Jeffrey Kauffman are my favorite reviewers. Not Martin Liebman, though. That guy doesn't know shit.
