Kingsman: The Golden Circle ($381,475,910)
For a second there, it actually looked like the sequel to this year's Kingsman: The Secret Service may not happen. Director Matthew Vaughn has been busy working on the script with Jane Goldman, but has since been linked to helm a number of different projects (including spy thriller I Am Pilgrim), while there were reports about a scuffle between Fox & Lionsgate over the services of star Taron Egerton - who is also set to shoot Robin Hood: Origins next year.
Thankfully, the latter situation was resolved last week (per The Hollywood Reporter). Principal photography on Kingsman 2 willl begin in April 2016 (with Egerton, and hopefully Vaughn), while filming on Origins was pushed back to the end of next summer. According to BoxOffice.com Fox have now scheduled the sequel to arrive in theaters on June 16th, 2017.
The Secret Service surprised most people by racking up over $400 million at the global box office - in February. If all goes to plan, we could be looking a summer box office smash in its sequel. It's a packed release date though, and it'll have to contend with Cars 3 on opening day, before fending off competition from Wonder Woman and Despicable Me 3 over the following weeks.

I liked the first. If Vaughn's back, I'm back.

Vaughn is a must have.
I want Eggsy and Roxy both back.
Last I heard they were trying to figure out some crazy way to bring back Harry Hart. That reminds me a of Wanted 2 when they was trying to figure out how to resurrect Angelina Jolie's character before they finally gave up and scrapped the film. I hope Vaughn doesn't make that mistake here.

I want the cast back too, but it needs Vaughn.
Wanted was just all bad. Bad book. Bad adaptation.

If Vaughn had made Wanted it would have been so much more.
While lack of Vaughn gets you Kick Ass 2.

Kick Ass 2 really wasn't bad. Was it as good as the first? No, but it wasn't bad. I don't get the hate and still want 3.

I love Kick-Ass but I really didn't like the sequel. I didn't hate it but I don't own it and while I have seen it three times since release, I just kept hoping it'd grow on me overtime but it didn't. They ruined two of my favorite characters from the first one, Katie and Todd and I pretty much found all of the villains to be garbage.

Well it looks as though the rumors of Harry's return are true but I have no idea how you return from a point blank execution if you're not Frank Castle. However this is a franchise that had a female villain with Blade Runner legs and a cell phone induced church massacre in the very first movie, so anything is possible.

Channing Tatum Enlists In ‘Kingsman 2’
Kingsman:The Golden Circle just beefed up its cast with a beefy American, as Channing Tatum has announced on twitter that he’s joined the case of the upcoming sequel to 2014’s spy-thriller hit directed by Matthew Vaughn. “I’m about to get all up in that Golden Circle,”
Set to begin production later this spring, Kingsman 2 will be see the return of Vaughn behind the camera along with returning cast Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, and Sophie Cookson. Despite their characters’ deaths in the first film, Colin Firth and Edward Holcroft are also returning, though what capacity remains unknown. They’ll be joined by Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal,

I liked him in the first movie. Killing him was a mistake, not sure if they did that because they didn't expect a sequel. I'm guessing he'll have an eye patch or something. I can't remember if we saw where the bullet hit.

You know based on the side only angle it is possible he's getting the Carl Grimes treatment.

It's the only way it makes sense. Or they film the scene again and add something new to the scene.

Harry had a titanium eye socket filled with fake eye and fake blood just in case he was ever shot there and needed to fake his death. I just solved their dilemma.

We all know Hollywood is mining our forum for casting and plot ideas. How else do you explain why we're right so often?

Saw this today, lots of fun. There's a certain...kind of cameo but goes on that I'm surprised wasn't spoiled for me and I found hilarious. Not as good as the first but a respectable sequel.

I think The Golden Circle is in a similar situation as John Wick Chapter 2. With the first movies nobody was really sure what to expect so they were surprise hits but now with the sequels there's something to live up to. The Golden Circle did a much better job than Chapter 2.

Well!?!?!?!??!?! You kept me waiting two days already and her name is listed in the credits....
Re: Kingsman: The Golden Circle ($381,475,910)
- Spoiler:
- She appears to get blown up in the attack on Kingsman very early on. The last thing you see is her running, building explosion is an outside shot so death offscreen means she could come back.
