You were too busy thinking how bad ass Bat's looked in his desert tactical gear to even notice the insignia on his "enemies" weren't you?

What about this?
How the fuck did you catch that? That was like a 1 second glimpse in that scene. Good catch! I guess Sups got people fighting for him but I'm sure he didn't ask for it. His imagine is torn up to shreds in this movie. It's looking more and more like Batman is the good guy and Superman is the bad guy. Seeing it from Bruce's perspective and the destruction Clark caused, it's hard not to see it any other way.
I did catch Zod though, that didn't escape me unless I'm missing something else besides that...

Actually the storyline of "Injustice: Gods Among Us" which leads into the Video game for Ps3/Ps4/X360/Xone has exactly that scenario.WyldeMan wrote:ForeverBlu wrote:Supes has a squad of Storm Troopers?
Hi Zod!
Must be an Army made up of the worshipers we've seen, Superman would never form an army on Earth.
One of the most insane things I've ever read and I'm currently in Year 3 of it (it's in Year 4).
Just a few morsels to digest:
- Spoiler:
- Superman and Lois are together, and she's pregnant with their child.
Joker steals Scarecrow's toxin along with kryptonite which allows the toxins to infiltrate Superman's system.
Joker kidnaps Lois, shoots Jimmy Olsen in the head.
Superman goes ballistic looking for Lois, tracks her to an underwater Sub where he and Harley are operating with masks. Superman rips open the door and goes in there and suddenly finds himself in a fight with Doomsday.
He decides he's not gonna let them hurt Lois, and grabs Doomsday and flies him up out of the Earth's atmosphere depriving him of oxygen. Realizing too late that he is not carrying Doomsday, he's carrying Lois who is pregnant with his child. And the Joker has rigged up nuclear explosives all over the city of Metropolis tied to Lois' heartbeat.
Superman suddenly realizes what he's done as Lois dies in his arms, and Metropolis is fucking leveled with Nuclear bombs going off.
Which leads to this epic fucking moment.
After this, Supes just loses it and decides he's no longer going to allow what happened to Lois and Metropolis to happen again and so he basically becomes a one world government. He enlists the aid of some other superheroes (namely Wonder Woman who seems to be manipulating him for awhile and The Flash) with others against him such as Batman, Arrow and others).
He even creates a super serum that can give regular people his abilities and creates his own arm of super soldiers across the globe.
Was actually seeing those patches and wondering if they were tying this in somehow.
Year 3 now and they've just brought in John Constantine in the battle against Superman after Supes and his people basically
- Spoiler:
- bitch slapped the entire Green Lantern Corp w/the help of Sinestro and now Superman has that Yellow Sinestro outfit and shit.

RUMOR: Jena Malone's DAWN OF JUSTICE Role Finally Revealed?
When it was revealed that Jena Malone had been cast in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (a role she dyed her hair red for), fans immediately began speculating that she would be playing Carrie Kelly. After all, this movie is taking inspiration from Frank Miller's classic The Dark Knight Returns, so that theory made at least some sense. Then, The Hollywood Reporter weighed in by indicating that they had heard that was indeed the role The Hunger Games star had been chosen for.
Maybe not! According to Latino-Review, Malone has actually been cast as Barbara Gordon, a character better know to us all as either Batgirl or Oracle! They're not sure what exactly her role in Batman v Superman will be, but Snyder could really go either way with the character here.
Malone always seemed a bit old for Carrie, and Barbara - another redhead - seems like a much better fit overall. The movie could portray her as Batgirl, Oracle, or perhaps most likely in a flashback to The Joker shooting her presumably at the same time we see the Clown Prince of Crime murdering Robin (who will apparently be played by Zack Snyder's son). We'll have to wait and see, but which version of Barbara would you most like to see her as?
ATTENTION GROO: Callan Mulvey Reported to be 'KGBeast' In DOJ
In December of last year, Badass Digest (now BMD) reported that one of Lex Luthor's goons in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice would be none other than KGBeast: the physically enhanced Batman villain that made his debut in 1988's Ten Nights of the Beast. Heroic Hollywood now reckon they've not only confirmed the character's involvement, but also that Callan Mulvey (The Winter Soldier, 300: Rise Of An Empire) will be playing him.
In the comic books this guy sports a rather fetishistic costume and displays super strength and agility thanks to his cybernetic enhancements, but don't expect the live-action incarnation to follow suit in either regard! Apparently in the movie Knyazev will the man in charge of keeping tabs on the world's metahumans for Luthor.

Re: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice ($873,260,194)
If we are getting Batman twenty years into his reign, I can't imagine she would be Batgirl anymore. That is possibly something they may save for the Batman solo film, but to me it'd seem more likely that she's Oracle and they could use her throughout the JL films from Watch Tower. Her being crippled by Joker and Jason's murder are potential plotlines for BvS but i can't imagine they'd both be fully explored here, that'd be too many flashbacks and in my opinion both characters deserve enough time for those stories to be told.

Re: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice ($873,260,194)
New Evidence Seems To Suggest 'The Joker' Used To Be
!
- Spoiler:
- There are those who believe that The Joker used to be Robin in the world of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. While that may sound ridiculous, it's worth bearing in mind that Dick Grayson went insane and became the new Joker in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Strikes Back, so there's certainly precedent for this happening in the comics (especially as Zack Snyder is using The Dark Knight Returns as his inspiration). Surely the director won't shake things up that much?
Well, Batman asking Aflred in the Batman v Superman trailer "20 years in Gotham, how many good guys are left? How many stayed that way?" led many to believe that The Joker could be his former sidekick from early on, and now one redditor has pointed out the following which seems to once again link the two characters; they have matching scars. Could this Joker be a second generation version of the Clown Prince of Crime?! I don't think so to be honest, but it would explain the Robin tattoo and why this version of The Joker is so different to what's come before. This feels like a reach, but what do you guys think?

You got me on that one, I got to Frank Miller's Dark Knight and finished the title in my head rather than what was written but you are correct "Again" was the title.

Seems like we are, it'd be the first Joker with a real origin story deeply connected to Bats. Could also lead to The Batman solo film if they take the prequel route with it. I don't mind Joker being a former unless of course it's the original and then I'm so not fucking cool with it because of what that means in relationship to any hopes for Nightwing.

Michael Shannon Got Stuck in a Porta Potty on BvS Because He Had Flippers for Hands
What happens when perennial bad-guy Michael Shannon is in need of some rescue? Shannon got himself into a tight spot on the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. “I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands,” Shannon told Vulture at a screening for 99 Homes hosted by Peggy Siegal. “So I had these wax flippers on my fingers, and I couldn’t open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder, the director] being like, 'Where’s Shannon? Where the fuck is he?' and the whole crew was standing around. I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, 'Let me out of here!'” Fortunately, Shannon had his personal superhero in the “craft-service guy, who doesn’t have the best craft service,” Shannon said. “He was actually paying attention to what was going on. He came over and he opened the door for me. Otherwise I would have gotten fired.”
Wait a minute, though: flippers for hands? There’s been a lot of guesswork around Michael Shannon’s character, who had a snappy death scene at the end of Man of Steel. Shannon appears briefly in the Batman v Superman trailer as a corpse, however, prompting speculation that his character General Zod might become Doomsday. But flippers? Did he contract some sort of Atlantean virus? In either case, Shannon wouldn’t elaborate any further about his brief appearance in the trailer. “Well, I haven’t seen the trailer either, so I don’t know what I am in the trailer,” he said. “I could be a toaster, or a Porsche, I don’t know.” (He didn't say where he's seen a toaster with flippers.)

Nice to get clarification on this from Snyder on this major rumor.
Snyder's interview with Yahoo!
"There’s a rumor that my son is [playing] Robin. It’s not true. Now there are all these images of him that people have made where he’s dressed like Robin. It’s fun to hear and see them."

Possible Details On When We'll See The New BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ Trailer(s)
We may just be getting a new trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice sooner than any of us expected! According to heroic Hollywood's sources, Warner Bros. is planning to debut two minute-long teasers towards the end of October. The first will be Superman-themed and is set to air on Monday October 26 during CBS's Supergirl premiere, and the second Batman-focused teaser will be shown the very same night over on FOX during Gotham.
Word is, the plan is for both teasers to lead to a full, theatrical trailer that will screen in November on Thanksgiving in front of Creed, and possibly Spectre and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, also.
Mayimbe cautions that we shouldn't take this as Gospel just yet, but remember he did break the news of that IMAX trailer event that took place back in April, so this is definitely worth keeping an eye on at least. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016

Re: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice ($873,260,194)
Rumors out of New York Comic Con this year had Marvel gearing up to spend a full $1 billion (with a B) on the production of "Avengers: Infinity War" parts one and two. Reportedly, the above-the-line costs to actors, screenwriters and the Russo Brothers' directing would total $400 million alone, with the lion's share going to Robert Downey Jr to return as Iron Man. It wasn't mentioned if the $1 billion estimate would include postproduction and marketing, but it is a huge number for two films either way.
We've been hearing that Marvel Studios isn't the only superhero house that's been having issues with ballooning budgets. We've also heard that Warner Bros is willing to drop a lot of money on Zack Snyder's vision for a Marvel-competitive DC cinematic universe.
Right now, "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice"s budget has ballooned to $410 million dollars. That means it is in the running for being the most expensive movie ever shot. The current record holder is "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," according to financial statements obtained by Forbes.
How costs got so high for what was once "Man of Steel 2" is something we probably won't know until well after the movie opens, but the addition of big name cast members, practical sets, and an extended production schedule could have all contributed.
But just because WB was willing to pump money into kickstarting a bunch of superhero movies doesn't mean that Zack Snyder now has free budgetary reign over the next installments he's directing. My sources are now telling me that the two-part "Justice League" movie--which is set to be released in 2017 and 2019, respectively--is going to be relatively reasonably budgeted at $500 million for the production of both films.
"Justice League" is prepping now in London for a 16-month production run, including pre-production and physical production.
Needless to say that WB is really betting the bank on "Batman v Superman" successfully kicking off this shared universe. Will it be worth all the extra money? We'll have to wait and see.
