Alright homies. I need some assistance with my car, please.

So I am in possession of a 2015 Toyota Highlander. A friend is deployed overseas and was kind enough to let me hold onto her vehicle (and drive it) while she is away.

I notice when I am braking, most times when going fast like exiting a highway, I can feel the brake pedal pulsating. Not pulsating like when ABS kicks in but like the rotors are warped. I had this in a previous car I owned but I just wanted to run this by you guys.

Does pulsating and vibrating brakes usually indicate warped rotors? Is there anything else that can cause this?

I want to replace the rotors and brakes but I just want to be sure I'm doing the right thing short of jacking up the car and taking off the wheels.

Warped rotors was my first thought and is the reason for pulsating brakes in my experience.

If I remember Highlander rotors are fairly thin so it wouldn't take very much warping to cause that pulsation. There is also the possibility that it's a worn wheel bearing or a bad CV.

But It's likely what you said, the rotors. A lose lugnut or overheating from braking can cause them to warp easily.

Any recommendations are welcome!

Oh, I almost forgot. Should I just go and replace the brake pads as well? The car only has about 25,000 miles on it and there's no squeaking or anything coming from the brakes.

Before having the work done, I'd take it to a local Les Schwab or trusted mechanic and have a free evaluation done, where they can take the tires off and allow you a peak at what's going on before you drop any coin.

Auto parts and meat are the only things I don't order online. If you recall, I used to sell auto parts and I always buy them in person so i can verify its all correct and there are no issues before paying.

I would do new pads with the rotors because you want everything to seat properly. If you re-use the old pads on new rotors, you're likely to imprint whatever existing damage the pads have onto the new rotors.

I thought for sure Mavis is nationwide. They even have a jingle that says they are America's discount tire store.

I wouldn't trust them for any type of work, though. I'll probably just bring it to my suspension guy and have him just do it. Funk dat.

When she comes back, I want this car in as close to brand new condition as possible. I'm even going to pay to have it professionally detailed at a local spot near my house which has rave yelps. She won't be back until about 2021 but I'm going to do this now so I can enjoy the use of this car and then have it detailed again before she comes back.

I didn't want to take this car but she needs me to drive it and really use it so it doesn't get vehicle rot when it just sits around for months. I know I sound like a dick when I said I want to enjoy this car but I'm under orders to use it as much as I can (which is like weekends and the occasional weekday).

According to the Mavis store locator, they're only in 14 states and nearly all are grouped along the east coast. Then I checked the Les Schwab store locator and it's almost the same deal but they're mainly on the west coast. I find it odd how many times we are running into situations like this.

And do you always do as your Mistress commands?

Warped rotors would be my guess, but a loose bearing may also be a culprate (which may have caused the warping of a rotor.

As Wylde said, if you do rotors, do pads at the same time. When the mechanics do it, they'll naturally check if there's any bearing issues. You can easily check the bearing issue yourself. Just jack the car up a bit, grab the wheel and shake it. If you get a bit of movement, they may need replacing, or simply repacking (take the old ones out, re-grease and pack them back in).

Rockauto.com is great. I've even used them from here in Oz for some of my car parts. They are a fantastic site with top notch service. The site's great to use too as they have every single make and model listed separately so you can be sure you don't order the wrong parts.

I will say if you aren't doing it yourself, you might have some trouble. A lot of workshops now don't allow customers to supply their own parts. A) because they make less money, and B) less hassle if there's any product issues, as they'll be able simply replace parts with their supplier for no cost.

R. Kelly's inner circle turned over sex tapes to feds: report

R. Kelly was arrested in Chicago on Thursday and is currently behind bars because of members in his inner circle.

"Enablers" and former employees reportedly handed over more than 20 videos of the disgraced R&B singer having sex with underage girls, according to TMZ.

Gerald Griggs -- who is the acting attorney for Joycelyn Savage's family and others -- allegedly revealed that feds in the Northern District of Illinois have the videos.

The tapes reportedly feature multiple victims and the evidence can help build the case the feds are currently building e against R. Kelly. The videos can help secure indictments for sex crimes the singer is being accused of.

As Fox News previously reported, Kelly was arrested on a 13-count indictment, including charges of child pornography and obstruction of justice, and will remain in federal custody at least until Tuesday, when he's scheduled for a detention hearing. Prosecutors want him held without bail.

The Chicago indictment charges Kelly with child sex crimes, including producing child pornography, and conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government. It also names Kelly's business manager, Derrel McDavid, and another employee.

After his release, he's expected to fly to New York City and face charges brought against by a Brooklyn federal grand jury.

A separate indictment filed in the Eastern District of New York included charges of racketeering, kidnapping, forced labor and the sexual exploitation of a child.

The New York indictment alleges that the criminal acts occurred over two decades dating back to 1999, both in the U.S. and overseas. It accuses Kelly of engaging in sexual acts with girls under 18, of having sex with a woman without disclosing that he had a sexually transmitted disease and of producing child pornography.

I do. I wasn’t going to collect anything (other than movies and music), but then they made Twin Peaks and Batman the animated series pops so I was like OK I guess I collect these now. I’ve slowed down and at least once a month I think about selling most of them off, but I haven’t.

The most recent pop I bought was Johnny Cash

There’s a documentary on Netflix about them, I think it’s called Making Fun, it documents the beginning up to the grand opening of the HQ/store. The last episode of Comic Book Men is when they went to the grand opening so they both have tours inside, it looks awesome. You won’t see it, but the employee lounge looks dope as fuck.

I did not realize that but it makes sense because it seems most Pops are multiples of the same characters.

I’ll be getting it. Coincidentally, like last years release of the original animated series it’s getting a limited edition first and it comes with a Funko Pop, a cool metallic one. The animated series came with 3 Pocket Pops of Batman, Joker and Harley but they were the regular versions, not the animated series versions.

Batman Beyond: Details of Scrapped Return of the Joker Sequel Revealed

2019 not only marks the 80th anniversary of Batman, but also the 20th anniversary of the popular DC animated series Batman Beyond. Series co-creator and DCAU architect Bruce Timm has now revealed details regarding a scrapped sequel to the series' spinoff film Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

At the Batman Beyond 20th anniversary panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Timm gave fans an idea of what the follow-up to Return of the Joker would have featured, including a big twist regarding series protagonist Terry McGinnis.

"Catwoman was going to be our leading villain in the second movie," said Timm. "She was the one who cloned Bruce Wayne to create Terry, but that was going to be our big surprise in our next movie." This idea would later be repurposed, as Return of the Joker did not sell well enough to justify moving forward on the sequel.

From how Timm describes things, it seems Catwoman would have played a role in Terry's very existence had the movie been produced. The revelation of Terry being a partial clone of Bruce would eventually be explored in the Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue." However, Catwoman was not involved in that story. It also seems like Selina Kyle may not have had noble intentions in cloning Bruce, seeing as how she apparently would have been the movie's antagonist.

Return of the Joker was released on home video in December of 2000, while the main Batman Beyond series was in the midst of its third season. Considered by many fans to be one of the darkest Batman features to date, the film follows the still-living and much more dangerous Joker as he wreaks havoc on Neo-Gotham 35 years after supposedly perishing in his final battle with Bruce. It falls upon Terry to solve the mystery of the Clown Prince of Crime's return and stop him once and for all.

Batman Beyond: Bruce Timm Weighs in on Chances of Series Revival

Batman Beyond co-creator Bruce Timm has weighed in on the chances of the beloved animated series returning for some sort of revival.

In the late 1990s, following the success of Batman: The Animated Series, Warner Bros. Animation tried something new with Batman Beyond. The series, which united acclaimed talent like Timm, Paul Dini and Alan Burnett, featured a new hero in the form of Terry McGinnis, who was passed the Dark Knight mantle by an aged Bruce Wayne. The series ran for three seasons from January 1999 to December 2001.

During the series' 20th anniversary panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Timm discussed the popularity of the relatively short-lived show. At one point, a young boy cosplaying as Terry McGinnis asked if/when there would be a new season.

"I'll tell ya: if this things sells like crazy on Blu-ray and creates a giant buzz, that will make it more possible that it would happen," Timm replied (referring to the remastered release due out later this year.) "We would totally do it."

Batman Beyond producer Glen Murakami also gave his thoughts on what a prospective revival would be like from the character Terry's prospective, saying, "Terry likes being Batman. Terry isn't tortured the way Batman [Bruce Wayne] is."

Despite Batman Beyond coming to an end almost two decades ago, the series has definitely managed to maintain a loyal fanbase thanks to the cartoon's legacy, as well as the various toy lines and comic book series that have kept its take on the Batman mythos alive. Earlier this year, rumors of a potential Batman Beyond theatrical film circulated, causing quite a stir in the fandom. However, these rumors were quickly shut down by Warner Bros.

That being said, there was a sense of closure given to Batman Beyond outside its 52-episode run, with the 2005 Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue" revealing Terry was a clone of Bruce who was created by Amanda Waller.

Over the years, Batman Beyond has returned in everything from Justice League Unlimited to The Zeta Project, Static Shock and Darwyn Cooke's 2014 short celebrating the Caped Crusader's 75th anniversary. Ultimately, audiences will have to wait and see whether Timm and Murakami get their wish, or if Batman Beyond as a television series remains a relic of a bygone era.

33 People Confirmed Dead in Japanese Kyoto Animation Fire

Following the terrible tragedy that befell Kyoto Animation Studio earlier this week which resulted in the death of 33 people and 36 injured overall, a suspect was taken into custody by Japanese authorities. More details about the suspect and his motives have been discovered by authorities according the news outlet, Hollywood Reporter. Campaigns of support have arisen for the beloved animation studio with the hashtag, #PrayForKyoAni spreading around social media from fans and general users looking to share their condolences.

The Hollywood Reporter shared details about the 41 year old responsible for the arson attack via their Official Twitter Account:

When police arrived soon afterward, they confirmed the man's identity from his driver's license and asked him why he had done what he did. "They copied my ideas," he was overheard by bystanders telling the police in an agitated manner. The man was also heard shouting, "They stole my novel, that's why I lit the fire," according to the Kyoto Shimbun newspaper's Friday morning edition."

In the following clip, Chicago Bliss safety, Alli Alberts, is upset her boob fell out during a tackle and she tries to blame the opposing team when you can clearly see it fell out on her own. I demand the view from another camera angle.

They're calling it Legends now but when they launched the league ten years ago, it straight up called it the Lingerie Football League because that's exactly what it was.

The ladies play in much different gear than when they started but the recent addition of pants instead of bikini bottoms just ruined the game for me.

A woman attempting to visit the abandoned bus made famous by the best-selling book and film Into The Wild has been killed.

The newlywed woman, one of many tourists who attempt to visit the “Magic Bus” where Chris McCandless died in 1992, drowned attempting to cross a river to get to the vehicle.

McCandless’s trip into the Alaskan wilderness was made famous in Jon Krakauer’s 1996 book, later made into a movie in 2007. Sean Penn wrote the screenplay and directed, and Emile Hirsch played McCandless.

The McCandless story tells how, after graduating from college, top student and athlete McCandless abandons his possessions, gives away his $24,000 in savings to charity, and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness. He later starved to death in the bus.

The abandoned bus has since become a macabre memorial, with hikers attempting to retrace the adventurer’s footsteps.

Veramika Maikamava and her husband, Piotr Markielau, both 24, were among those hikers. They were attempting to cross the Teklanika River along the Stampede Trail shortly before midnight, according to Alaska State Troopers. That’s when Maikamava was swept under the water and drowned. The river was said to be running high from recent rainfall.

-How could this happen....I thought the city of Chicago banned guns years ago.
