It was so heavily marketed as a gangster film that when I realized the only real gangster was Chastain and they weren't even gonna let her play one. She was the only reason I even finished the film, I was utterly bored the whole time just waiting for the crime to actually happen. Had no idea this was such a big financial failure though, only grossed 1/4 of its production budget back.
