When did this rumor start? Would be cool but I doubt it. Isn't his character running around with the Suicide Squad in the movie?

It's been quietly gaining steam for months now but a lot of folks believe it's because Batman put him there to supervise the Squad. Originally Scott was said to be up for Hal Jordan but opted for his soldier character on SS instead. Doesn't that seem like an odd choice to you if he's just a random nothing soldier? Given that the BvS trailer shows the at least one Robin almost certainly Jason Todd was taken out by the Joker this would mean Dick Grayson still had to grow up at some point prior to that. You can't see the possibility of Nightwing suddenly shows up in SS shortly before Batman gets his own movie? Since they went the old man Bruce route it could be with the plans for Scott to eventually take over the Cape and Cowl for him one day as Nightwing as done before. This would give them years to build his character and multiple films to do it in too. Just speculation...

It's certainly possible. I'd love to see that happen but sounds too good to be true.

Tyger might like this news.
Apparently there was a chance that Margot Robbie could have donned Harley Quinn's original court jester look from when the character debuted in Batman: The Animated Series. In talking about how excited she is for everyone to see Suicide Squad, Robbie revealed, “I cannot emphasize enough how many outfits, and how many variations of the Harley Quinn costume we tried. We tried the court jester costume, we tried the corset and skirt, we tried leather pants, we tried literally every type of costume possible for her. I really love where we ended up. And who knows, maybe in the sequels we’ll go with the court jester one. I think there’s a world of possibilities.”

Heard they were reshooting some scenes for this movie. I don't know if it has anything to do with BvS.

It's rumored to be about expanding on some of the dialogue and humor since people complained so much about the darkness of BvS however rumors like this happen every single time a film enters reshoots regardless of what the production was like.

Don't need much humor for this movie since it's Suicide Squad. This should be even darker than BvS was.

Harley should be the comedic relief of the film, she was always hilarious on BTAS.

Damn, I think Jared is going to kill it. He really looks like he's gone fully mental for this role.
Batman looks different and a little less bulky, is that Ben? Is this movie taking place in the past? His suit looks different too but the car is the same I think. I need to get a better look.

I was reading an article a few weeks back about how they used a body builder's form for The Bat's suit in BvS. I don't know if it's the same one here or not cause I'm not watching the new trailers but we could be seeing Batman flashbacks to an earlier time with a different suit? Also, apparently Bats plays a much bigger role in this movie than the trailer lets on. The studio always wanted more Affleck in the suit even before the BvS reviews so Ayer filmed quite a bit from my understanding.

Cool! That's a good thing. I'm excited for this movie and I hope it blows our expectations. A lot is riding on it.
And I do think it takes place in the past or at least some of it. Batman has bad history with The Joker as mentioned in BvS so we might see that here.

Did they reveal which Robin fell?

I'm softening on this a little. It looks kind of fun. Not at all what I'd want from a Suicide Squad movie, but kind of fun in its own way. And more Batfleck is good.

It could have been any one of the Robins in this verse.
When I know there is a cut that's 30 minutes longer coming and after I've heard nothing but every single person shit all over the editing, as a DC fan I'd be doing a disservice to myself by seeing an inferior cut ordered by the studio for better ticket sales, which didn't pan out anyways.

Margot Robbie Attached to Star in Harley Quinn Spin-Off
Warner Bros. is developing a spin-off for DC’s Harley Quinn, with Margot Robbie attached to reprise her role, TheWrap has confirmed.
Robbie, who sources say has become something of a DC Comics expert since joining “Suicide Squad,” would also produce the untitled project. Robbie is said to have fallen in love with DC’s female characters.
The film is not a Quinn solo movie, but would feature multiple female superheroes — and possibly villains — in the DC Comics universe. Beyond Quinn, names being considered include Batgirl and Birds of Prey.
Warner Bros. is not commenting officially about the project and it’s not yet clear how each character mentioned will be fleshed out onscreen.
A woman writer, who Robbie brought on, is working on the screenplay, though her identity has not yet been revealed.

Not liking this idea as much as I like Margot Robbie. Harley doesn't deserve her own movie just yet.
After the mess that is BvS, they figured lets ignore the heroes for now and focus on the villains. DC doesn't know what the fuck to do with these characters.

Harley was born deserving her own movie, Margot's casting just happened to ensure it was a priority. Fuck the Lanterns, I want more Harley. Besides it's going to be a female DC character ensemble with Harley as the lead. Deadshot is getting a big role in Affleck's Batman so why shouldn't the best character in the Skwad get a movie?

I've never once thought "Harley Quinn deserves her own movie" because she's not a big enough character, unless you've got Joker then it's all good. And we're going to get her origin in this movie so it doesn't make sense. If you're going to have Birds of Prey and others though, it's not really a Harley movie technically.

It's not about who deserves a movie, it's about what sells and Harley's potential toy merchandising alone was probably enough to greenlight that movie. Not to mention, as I've said time and again, she's sex on legs and that always sells. Kids will love her cause she's a fun psychopathic clown who giggles while she causes mayhem and men everywhere will love her cause she giggles and jiggles while she kills, also she's got a wicked sense of humor, pretty sure there's a large demographic of women who are lusting after that too.
She's easily the best character in the entire Skwad and the one they can make the most money with. They could pair her up with any number of women including Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Black Canary, Huntress, Batgirl or even Katana from the Skwad. They have so many more options with Harley to introduce other female characters than just cramming them all into the JL movie and hoping for the best.

You can count this movie as her own since she's probably going to steal the spotlight. It's either her or the Joker. She can also be in a solo Batman movie instead of JL where she'd have larger role.
A Harley Quinn movie where other heroes are in it won't be much of a Harley Quinn movie too.

They can fire everybody else and i'll just keep watching Harley do her thing or is there somebody else in all of DC you'd rather spend two and half hours staring at?
It sounds as Harley is the launching point, in what is clearly going to be a major overhauling. I'd love if Harley, Catwoman and Ivy got up to no good and caused Chaos for The Batman. But if you'd rather watch a Green Lantern movie then keep waiting.

Now see, I'd watch that movie. But again, if Batman is in it then it'll be a Batman movie. He'll overshadow Harley because people are going to go in wanting to see Affleck as Batman.

Batman has a good amount of screen time in Suicide Squad too but that's not a Batman movie.
I don't think there's anything on Earth that could make Batfleck overshadow Harley for any warm blooded man or woman. She's walking sex and the other one is Ben Affleck.

If one of the Lantern's is Tyrese Gibson, I riot.

On another topic.
Mid-Credits Scene Confirmed; No Post-Credits Sequence
It looks like we may be getting a tease for the future of the DC Extended Universe when the curtain closes on David Ayer's Suicide Squad. ComicBook.com reports that there is a "pivotal" mid-credits sequence that will roll after the main ending bumper, though there is NOT an after-credits sequence typically seen in Marvel Studios films. The report reads as follows:
After the credits sequence rolls (that's also called the "bumper," the part before the plain black-and-white names and characters part rolls), using the same stylized hyper-colored imagery they’ve used in the posters and character art, there’s one more scene waiting for you on the other side. It’s pivotal and important, too.
There is not, however, an after-credits scene. While Marvel Studios frequently makes use of both, giving a major story beat in the mid-credits, and an extra tease or sometimes a joke post-credits, it seems DC Films/WB is not following suit. Of course, this is also based on early screenings, so it could change after the film itself is released. We’ve reached out to Warner Bros. for confirmation, and should they provide it, will update.
