Apparently Jesse Plemons scene is just that small scene we get in the trailer. He wasn't suppose to be in the movie. He was only onset looking after his and Dunst kids, but the guy cast on the role couldn't make it in, so she asked Jesse to do it.

Interesting, you can't have Plemons on set and not use him.
