The Sisters Brothers (Phoenix / C. Reilly / Gyllenhaal / Ahmed) (Fall 2018)
Based on Patrick Dewitt’s acclaimed novel of the same name, follows two brothers – Eli (Phoenix) and Charlie Sisters (C. Reilly) – who are hired to kill a prospector (Ahmed) who has stolen from their boss (Gyllenhaal). The story, a genre-hybrid with comedic elements, takes place in Oregon in 1851. The film is Jacques Audiard’s follow-up to his Palme D’Or Winning DHEEPAN, which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

Reilly has been working on getting this movie made for years, I remember reading about five years ago back when he was the only name attached and had already been trying to get it done for a few years at that point too. What an excellent cast and it's great to see Riz and Jake back together again.
