Damn it! It'd be a shame if this turns out to be the last one and Eve wasn't in it. I don't care who plays her, she needs to be in it.

And I wanted no part of Speedman, besides he's got so many other film offers coming in when hhen he's not busy getting every tv show he's on cancelled. Speaking of, they better shoot him in the face in the season two premiere of Animal Kingdom so that his curse can't continue.

I'd care, I hate recastings. I'm a stickler for continuity and people changing faces is only acceptable if this is Game of Thrones.

'Underworld' Attempted a Blade Crossover

Appearing at New York Comic Con this weekend, “Underworld: Blood Wars” star Kate Beckinsale unexpectedly gave a brief update on a franchise about a different black leather-clad vampire killer – “Blade”.

“Blade” hasn’t hit the big screen in over ten years and though actor Wesley Snipes has made some claims in regards to meeting with Marvel Studios about potentially returning to the role, there hasn’t been any serious activity since Marvel took the rights back in 2012.

During the new ‘Underworld’ panel, Beckinsale revealed that there was recently talk of doing a crossover between both franchises, but Marvel prevented it because they have plans for the character: “No. We had that idea. No… They’re busy. They’re doing something with ‘Blade.'”

“Blade” is one of those franchises that isn’t expected to be a part of the larger MCU films, but could well show up on the small screen in the near future.

Dodged a bullet there. This world is not the same as Blade's world. They do need to give Blade his own Netflix show though.

Netflix won't make that mistake though. They've been doing really great with the casting so far.

Last I heard it wasn't another tv series in the works but a film focused on Blade's daughter from the new Blade comics.

I watched this today and I enjoyed it. I just never get tired of seeing Selene in that outfit and I like all the action stuff. I hope they make more and involve her daughter.
