Spawn (Movie Finds New Writers with ‘Joker,’ ‘Captain America 4’ Scribes)

I haven't posted any updates here in two and a half years because it's just been Todd McFarlane endlessly claiming that he had a big update coming soon and then saying they might do a tv series instead of a movie but not much else.

I haven't heard Renner's name mentioned in years so I'd expect he's no longer attached but I was surprised to see Jamie Foxx start talking up the project again like there's been actual progress. I hope it pans out this time, I'm tired of getting hyped year after year and getting nothing for it. J

But if they can't make the live action route work than maybe they can bring back and continue the original HBO animated series, I'd be happy either way. I just want the decades of neglect for this character to end.
