Makes sense, they go way back.
Disney just ordered a skinny bowl of white rice to steal the credit for only directing 1/4 of the film. If he puts Thor in this, I'm gonna be super pissed.
They quit that far into the production, Wow.
Those guys are still entitled to screen credit, right?

Turns out they didn't quit but got fired for fighting with Lawrence Kasdan because they wanted to allow the actors to improvise some takes and he wanted strict by the book nothing not on the page and when he didn't get it he bitched it Kathleen Kennedy and she fired them. Though that wasn't until after they also fired the editor and threw an acting coach at that no talent Alden turd.
There will be no happy endings for the Hanjob Solo film.

Michael Kenneth Williams’ Role Cut From ‘Star Wars’ Han Solo Movie Amid Reshoots
EXCLUSIVE: Michael Kenneth Williams, an Emmy nominee for his supporting role in HBO’s The Night Of, will not be in the new Star Wars stand-alone Han Solo movie after all. His part has been cut amid the reshoots now underway with new director Ron Howard. Williams said the revamped production schedule conflicted with his commitment to spy drama The Red Sea Diving Resort, his new movie now shooting in South Africa with Ben Kingsley and Chris Evans.
“I felt great about what I created with the directors that I worked with,” said Williams, who was cast in the Han Solo origin story by original helming duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who exited in June. “It is what it is.”
“When Ron Howard got hired to finish out the film, there were some reshoot issues that needed to be done in regards to my character, in order for it to match the new direction which the producers wanted Ron to carry the film in,” Williams told Deadline. “And that would have required me on a plane a month ago to London, to Pinewood, to do reshoots. But I’m here, on location in Africa. It’s scheduling. I’m not going to be back on the market until the end of November after [his SundanceTV series] Hap and Leonard, and for them to wait that long for me, that would have pushed back the release date, which I believe is in May 2018. They wanted me now; I couldn’t go. So they had to clip-clip-clip.”
Plot and character details had been kept under wraps, but Williams said he played a half-human, half-animal in the film and that “we created a kick-ass character, in my opinion. I’m proud of it.”
Howard took over from Miller and Lord in late June after the duo left the project due to creative differences. Production resumed in July, and Lucasfilm and Disney still are targeting their original May 25, 2018, release date. Alden Ehrenreich stars as Han Solo and Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo co-star.
“I don’t think that me not being in the Star Wars family is final,” Williams said. “I left with a very good taste in my mouth about the whole family, and I hope that I left a good taste in their mouth. They’re a great group of people, the Lucas family.”

This is what happens when the release date is more important than the actual movie.

Hanjob's Solo film turned out to be the total failure and is bombing worldwide just like I hoped it would. This is what happens when you make a movie about the most overrated and unworthy SW character in the entire franchise.
Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story ($385,250,465)
Hanjob Solo. LOL! I don't know why they won't take a hint. Nobody wanted this movie just like Rogue One. Yes, I know some people liked RO but it's pointless. The Last Jedi didn't do as well as Episode 7 either. It's all going downhill, they are slowly destroying it. Han Solo of all people, get outta here!
Harrelson should have stayed away from this but I can see why they others did.

I've been calling him Hanjob Solo in this thread for two years and you only just now noticed? You really don't read my posts.....
They chose Hanjob over the long rumored Obi-Wan film with Ewan McGregor returning and I bet now that they've seen the box office numbers, they still won't realize what a poisonous cunt Kathleen Kennedy has been to this franchise. She's a tyrant who micromanages and squashes all creativity from the films and until they get rid of her, nothing will get better.

Really? Either I forgot or I'm just noticing it now, I must have read it as Han Solo while skimming over it.

She has a say on the movies? I hate it when studios do this, WB does it too on DC films.
