I only saw a little bit here and there about the fight but I feel like RR talked more crap than HH. I mean, sure, HH might have said and done a few things but RR was just cocky. I'm not glad she lost but like Forever said, it's kind of nice to have someone knock her down a peg and show the world Rousey is a human just like us.

I did watch an after-match interview with HH and I gotta say, she is so modest. Wow. Not what I expected at all. She really seems like a cool lady. Deadly but very humble and cool.

I was not expecting that and neither was Ronda judging by the reactions she had during the fight. Holm just kept her back against the cage never allowing a take down, so Ronda kept eating bombs. I watched the fight live and I have been as you know by now I've been a Rousey fan for years and watched her steam roll her way through everybody and this was the first time they gave her an opponent who had an answer for her ground game, by taking it entirely out of play. Gotta give Holm respect for ending the streak when so many failed before but as a Rousey fan, I'm still pissed.

God damn. I feel like shit. Got a fever and a headache. ugh. it's 5:41am here. Can't sleep because I keep burning up. Then it's too cold. Then too hot. Fugg. I'm gonna stop eating for a couple of days and just drink 7Up or Ginger Ale. I need to flush out my system of any toxins. God damn it. Anyone know any good home remedies?

Stupid baby immune system. I feel like I always get sick when I go out of the country. Sucks so much. Crying or Very sad

Acai berry is a monster in the detox department but sweating is also great, if you got a access to a sauna even better. I drink Pedialyte and Poweraide a lot during this time.

Yea, I gotz me some powerade here and an italian "Energade" or something. Either way, I needz them electrolytes. If you keep drinking plain water you might wind up hurting yourself more.

Took the day off today. My pals all went out without me. I slept and slept and slept. I feel much better now, though. Still, I'm gonna just drink fluids until tomorrow night. Hopefully by then my body won't be so achy and shitty.

It's going around, joey. I'm just starting to feel better myself. I just drank a lot of fluids....water, orange juice, tea with ginger. A hot shower also helps but like Wylde said, if you can find a sauna, even better. Feel better!

Charlie will reportedly appear on Today on Nov. 17 and admit that he’s been battling with HIV, a diagnosis he has known for years. Until now, he has kept his status under raps, so why is he going on TV to reveal that he’s contracted the terrible illness? According to a new report, he didn’t have much of a choice. TMZ says that Charlie confided in a few untrustworthy people, and they spread the word. Once the news reached some of Charlie’s many ex-partners, things got nasty.

Charlie’s past lovers were understandably infuriated that they had been exposed to HIV unknowingly, and lawsuits allegedly began popping up left and right. TMZ’s sources said Charlie settled many of the cases, exchanging money for confidentiality. Charlie reportedly had a lot of safeguards to keep his private business out of the public eye. Apparently, all visitors to his home must sign a confidentiality agreement that requires those that want to make a claim to do so outside of the courts, settling in arbitration instead.

Despite all of Sheen’s precautions, he’s allegedly poised to admit the diagnosis on his own. Perhaps the whirlwind of attention scared him, and made him decide to get ahead of someone else going to the media by telling us himself. Regardless of his reasoning, the Nov. 17 Matt Lauer interview is sure to be intense.

Just watched a few people rescued by boat from their truck as my town has been under severe flooding since last night. Hundreds of thousands are without power across the county but the water rescue is a mile and a half from my home so getting a bit nervous if the waters don't start receding.

The deepest I've seen today was between 5' - 6' but my road is up enough of an incline that it didn't make it further down before the water started to recede about 11am. I don't know how deep it is everywhere else but I saw boats traveling up the roads and across water where there are usually fields, lol.

This is from my local news site from when their reporter came flying over my town this morning for the flood report and it's about 3 miles from my place.

My town floods every Fall and has for as long as I've been here. It's a common occurrance, everybody gathers and fills sand bags and then we build a dam across the train tracks. It's pretty common practice by this point.

Jared Fogle Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Child Pornography

Disgraced Subway pitchman Jared Fogle was sentenced to over 15 years in prison for charges related to sex with minors and child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt, describing Fogle’s level of “perversion and lawlessness” as “extreme,” ordered Fogle on Thursday to serve 188 months in prison — 20 more than the advisory guidelines. Fogle pleaded guilty to one count of traveling to engage in sexual conduct with a minor and one count of receiving child pornography. He must participate in a sex offender treatment program while in prison.

Prosecutors had asked for a 12.5-year jail sentence, while Fogle’s attorneys had sought a five-year term.
Under a plea deal, Fogle must register as a sex offender after his release (he’ll be eligible for parole after 13 years), have his digital devices monitored and pay a $175,000 fine.

“Not a day will go by where I don’t think about them and what I did to impact their lives,” Fogle said in court about his victims, holding back tears. “It is my intent to learn from these experiences so that I never, ever do these things again.”

“At the time, I really didn’t think through what I was doing,” Fogle insisted.

Although Pratt said Fogle appeared “painfully aware of the harm he’s caused his victims,” she said the fact that he used his fame to lure victims was inexcusable. He even asked prostitutes to procure children for him in various states.

“Mr. Fogle used his wealth and fame to entice these victims,” she said “Mr. Fogle was living a double life and for many years was engaged in a life of deception and depravity.”

After an FBI raid on his home in July, Fogle plead guilty in August to charges related to sex with minors and child pornography. He recently paid $1 million in restitution to 10 of his underage victims.

Holly Holm Linked To Steroids After Ronda Rousey Fight

Holly Holm, 34, became one of the baddest women on the planet after she knocked out Ronda Rousey, 28, to win the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. But now, Holly’s win is coming under scrutiny after it was discovered she’s connected to a company that sells steroids!

Holly is sponsored by Intel Pharma, reports USA Today. The Texas-based company sells supplements reportedly containing substances that are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. UFC follows the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s rules, which adheres to the WADA’s rules and regulations. While this sponsorship doesn’t mean Holly is on steroids, it doesn’t look good for the new UFC champ.

“This looks highly suspicious,” Victor Conte, founder of the Bay Area Lab Co-Operative that provided both legal and illegal substances to athletes in the past, told USA Today Sports, adding “So now one of the biggest stars in UFC, Holly Holm, is endorsing crazy, fringe (supplements) that [UFC’s anti-doping chief, Jeff Novitzky] is known for busting people for doing.”

Both Intel Pharma and JAK Nutrition congratulated Holly on her Nov. 14 win. JAK Nutrition, which sells Intel Pharma products, lists four of them as Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators, which are considered steroids by WADA. That means they’re considered steroids by UFC.

Holly’s manager, Lenny Frezquez, said that he and Holly were aware Intel Pharma sold banned substances. Whether Holly used the products, Lenny didn’t inspire confidence in his reply. “Holly didn’t really use them,” he told USA Today, “so it’s not a big deal. I’m sure she didn’t use any of them. She might have taken a picture with one.”

What does this mean for Ronda and Holly’s proposed rematch at UFC 200 in July 2016? Ronda is already serving a six-month suspension, out of concern she suffered a traumatic head injury during her fight with Holly. If there’s more to Holly’s relationship to Intel Pharma than just money, is the rematch of the century in danger?

People love to hate Rousey cause she's her own worst enemy at times in interviews but I get fighters, I understand her mentality and it's nothing I haven't seen thousands of times over the last 15 years with male fighters. But she's under way more scrutiny because she's the UFC's first female champion in history and went undefeated for so long and until the next big streak ends it looks like she's going to remain the internet's punching bag from people who clearly don't know shit about fighting.

When fighters explode into stardom they need a bigger management team to handle their business, Jon Jones did the exact same thing and nobody said shit when he became the biggest fighter on the planet a few years back following his own long undefeated streak. Her mom was her manager and trainer way before Harvery came sniffing around.

One of my favorite fighters of the last ten years Nick Diaz received a five year suspension a few months back for testing positive for marijuana. A substance that is legal in my state and sold on just about every corner and has absolutely no effect on making you a better fighter. Yet somehow when you piss dirty for steroids I've never see anyone get more than a year suspension but this was a title fight so if it's true she's in for a shit storm. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised Holm seems to be jacked up at all times and I don't mean that she's muscular.

Italy is a wonderful place. I'm not sure I would ever want to live there but being there for 8-ish days was the perfect length. We stayed in Firenze but made day trips to Pisa, Roma, and Venezia. Woo wooooo I'm so classy using the Italian names of the cities.

Closest I've ever been to Italy was back in high school when I dated the Italian exchange student, lol.
