Really like this forum. Love the chat box and how it's free and it seems overall better than the other forum when it comes to features and such.

Re: BDTV: The Reboot
If we can get a few more people over here and everybody in the chatbox at a certain time I can edit the forum per your requests at the time, it might be easier to preview a lot of different looks unless you guys just want to keep it this simple.
Re: BDTV: The Reboot
I'm here, guys! It's me, beefy.
I figured I go with a new name. New forum, new name!

Re: BDTV: The Reboot
Liking it so far. I never got a chance to think of a new name though
I might be the only one and if so, that's fine, but I think in the TV Shows it'd be nice if the thread titles reflected the network and night of airing. I know that cuts space for details you like to throw in though.

Re: BDTV: The Reboot
Just a thought: dont shut down the activeboard forum if possible. There is a ton of good info there and I would love it if I could go back there every once in a while to read up on something from the past.
Of course, if it costs you money to keep it running then I wouldn't blame you for shutting it down.

Do you mean info or conversations? Information could always be reposted

Re: BDTV: The Reboot
Joey, I don't have any plans to shutdown the OG BDTV. Like you said it is a great resource and I'll probably be drawing from my other posts there for awhile since we've compiled so much info across so many topics.
Tyger, are you talking about like what I used to do something like "Arrow (Wednesdays, CW)" I stopped doing it cause it seemed like everybody was just using their DVRs but if you guys would prefer that I can go back to that format.

Re: BDTV: The Reboot
I know most DVR or stream/download, but sometimes it comes in handy to see what network and night a show is on. But like I said, if it's just me, that's cool.

This quoting system is much better. If I hit the "backspace" button the fonts don't change. LOL Was I the only one to have that problem on activeboard? Say I quoted someone, if I deleted a letter, the quoted font would change to default. It was really annoying.

Please explain how the hell I use this I keep trying to reply to everything and it aint working! But yeah the quote system is so much better.
Re: BDTV: The Reboot
I haven't tried multi-quoting yet, actually, but since it has its own button I'm assuming it'll be easy

That's what I thought, it would even then change the quote color but then there is no button to go forward other than post.

Like this forum. Few nice little touches over the other one. View new posts button; page index on top and bottom of page; friendlier interface on iPhone; multi-quote.
Me likey.

I didn't know we had this thread here too. Yeah, I like this forum a lot more. I can't believe this was available to us for free all along.

Re: BDTV: The Reboot
Yeah everything here has been free I haven't had to pay for anything but there are upgradeable features.
Re: BDTV: The Reboot
With this new Rep and points system in place I just want to point out the features to you guys who want to show appreciation for the new forum. The thank you button is in the top right corner of each post and the small plus sign over to the far right just below the online/offline banners and its how you vote for your favorite posts and it also adds to user points, so make sure you guys use the these features when you feel like someone has earned them.

Hit the "multi-quote" button on the quotes you want to multi-quote, then go to the bottom of the thread and hit the "Post Reply" button. Don't use the quick reply box.

Click the multiquote button for all the posts you want and then scroll down to the top or bottom of the page and click the Post Reply button on the left side of the screen (it is next to the Next Topic button).

Thanks Joey, once I read Russ' response last night it came clear. I'd been using the quick reply this whole time and didn't even notice they there was a post reply button.

I'm Asian and my eyes are smaller than yours even when you're high as shit and I had no trouble seeing the Post Reply button even when I'm doing complex calculus equations in my head as I type for fun.

Hey sir I didn't need to see it to create this forum and so far I have yet to use it!

I was doing some thinking about this and I for now I'm going to keep the return dates of the shows in the titles since everything is going on hiatus but once they return I think we'll try your suggestion out for a bit.

Hahahaha, I don't think you were here for that convo but I told him that every time I read his Utimate name it sounded like something you'd hear an old Asian man with horrible English skills yelling at the Avengers and I immediately thought of Mr Shitty Walk!!!! Cause well of course I did....That's an awesome avatar too....
Re: BDTV: The Reboot
Don't know if any of you are aware but by actually clicking on the word Chatbox in the upper left corner of it, a new window will launch that allows you to keep that chat open as you make your way around the forum. I can't find a way to just make it available at the top of every page but for now that'll work.
