Ghostbusters (Sony Leak Reveals Possible Cast)
Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer, and Lizzy Kaplan were all named in an email from Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, to Ivan Reitman, who directed and produced the original “Ghostbusters” movie in 1984. The email was sent on October 8, 2014, reports the Daily Beast. It includes the following paragraph:
“”Agree that everyone is way too nervous about how this issue and how we present it but it’s isn’t a sequel to the 80s movies and it is gonna be totally original with completely different characters and our job is to find a clever way to connect the movie to the original franchise so that we can use all the assets and everything that is great about the original franchise. Paul’s movie is gonna be the first one and from what I’m hearing Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone and Melissa McCarthy and Amy Schumer and Lizzy Kaplan just to name a few have already said thy wanted to be in….
Paul Feig, who directed the successful comedy “Bridesmaids,” is set to take the helm on the new “Ghostbusters.” Hopefully at least some of these amazing women appear in his movie’s final cut!

I have been strongly starting to feel like that and at this point shes only making Oscar bait with O'Russell. Yet she was one of the primary reasons I didn't like American Hustle. Her next movie, Joy is about the homemaker who invented a mop or something and has secured a supporting cast of stop me if you've heard this before Bradley Cooper, Robert DeNiro and directed by David O'Russell. And for some reason Edgar Ramirez, whom I really like and think has a lot of potential but that premise sounds wack!

Sony Leak Reveals New Details About the Reboot and Possible Casting
A little earlier today, we heard about plans for a possible Ghostbusters spinoff which would star Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: Retaliation). However, another leaked set of emails - this time between Sony boss Amy Pascal and Bridesmaids helmer Paul Feig - reveal a ton of new details about the planned reboot featuring a female team of Ghostbusters. According to Vulture, humans know nothing about ghosts in this world because they haven't made their presence felt as of yet. It's when the movie's villain (a convicted murderer the director envisions being played by Peter Dinklage) is turned into a ghost after his electric chair execution is hit by what they call "a supercharged electrical storm" that things change because he gains the ability to raise an army of ghosts, many of whom could be well-known historical "villains".
As you might imagine, this leads to "four very different women" coming together to "figure out in funny, scary and action-packed ways how to save New York City and the world." These Ghostbusters will work for the US government, but because ghosts don't "officially" exist, the government will deny having a relationship with these ladies, going so far as to say, "terrible things about them in press conferences and then apologizing to them behind the scenes." It's a potentially very interesting dynamic and sounds like it could be a lot of fun if handled the right way.

So let me get this straight, Paul Feig is going after Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer, Lizzy Kaplan, Ryan Gosling and Peter Dinkledge for the reboot? Well somebody has an ambitious agenda.
God damn it!!! I am sick and tired of the way this formats all of my posts! It keeps fucking leaving html code all over my posts when I've already removed them.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I'm much more interested in seeing what Channing Tatum has in mind for the version with him and Chris Pratt. It sounded like he wanted to go completely serious and not a comedic route at all. At least that's what the email implied by his Nolan comment.

Fuck that, full on comedy is the only time he's bearable or likable
