The Snowman (Fassbender / Ferguson / Simmons / Kilmer) (October 20th)

Post by WyldeMan on 7/19/2017, 8:00 am

Michael Fassbender (X-Men series), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Independence Day: Resurgence), Val Kilmer (Heat) and Academy Award® winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) star in The Snowman, a terrifying thriller from director Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), based on Jo Nesbø’s global bestseller.

When an elite crime squad’s lead detective (Fassbender) investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again.  With the help of a brilliant recruit (Ferguson), the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall.

I like Nordic Noir and this one looks interesting.

Perhaps this will get me to start liking Fassbender again.

He writes like a mentally challenged individual who I'm gonna wager loves his bible almost as much as murder.

Fassy should've optioned the Harry Hole book series, for tv or streaming.

Jo Nesbo has penned eleven books to date, The Snowman is the 7th in this series.

This film is getting dragged by critics and moviegoers.

Fassy and Wooden Shoes got married recently, RIP to his film career.

Yep, I read some of the reviews. They say it's very bad but I'll still check it out for Ferguson.

What happened to him? His career seemed so promising after First Class when he was one of the most in demand actors but he managed to destroy it within the last couple years by joining nothing but terrible projects, he should really fire his agent.

It feels like Fassy has been studying at the School of Bruce Willis...

This film has dropped from 21% to 8% on Rotten Tomatoes.

As for Fassy's FLOP ass career....

Poor Management

Thinks he's too good for streaming or cable tv.

Booze

Drugs

Poor film choices

Stopped working with Steve McQueen

Little to no work ethic or motivation.

When you lay it out like that, he makes Jonathan Rhys Meyers seem like he's got his shit together... Shocked
