Wheelman (Frank Grillo / Garret Dillahunt) (October 20 @ Netflix)

Frank Grillo stars as the wheelman, a getaway driver thrust into a high STAKES race-to-survive after a bank robbery goes terribly wrong. With a car full of money and his family on the line, the clock is ticking to figure out who double-crossed him and the only person he can trust... his thirteen-year-old daughter. All reasons to think fast and drive faster.

Wheelman was written and directed by Jeremy Rush. Frank Grillo, Joe Carnahan and Myles Nestel serve as producers.

The film will be released on Netflix on October 20, 2017 with a supporting cast that includes Garret Dillahunt, Caitlin Carmichael, Wendy Moniz, John Cenatiempo, Slaine and William Xifaras..

joey con carne wrote:Just kidding. As of this post, I wasn't even familiar with the name but I just googled and I know his face. I recognize him as Simon on Burn Notice and in the movie where his head exploded in a microwave.

I like how the film just starts and ends. It could have been filmed in real time. Too bad it wasn't because it would be pretty cool if it was.

UltimateMarvel wrote:I just watched it and I agree, the backstory was really the only thing that was missing. Grillo was great with most scenes being just him and the phone. I love films like this where the movie takes place in one setting, a car in this case. Phone Booth, Locke, Buried, and The Hateful Eight. It can get intense depending on the dialogue and plot. So, I enjoyed this movie overall.
