Pride and Prejudice and Zombies ($5,200,000) Pride-10

The story follows Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) and her sisters Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) as they try to navigate societal pressures of the landed gentry and fend off hoards of zombies.

The film also stars Lena Headey, Charles Dance, Matt Smith, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston and Sam Riley.

Lily James is nice to look at so I will definitely be checking this out. Not sure I would go to the movies for this, though. Hopefully LJ can make the action scenes look good. Smile

I liked Abraham Lincoln:Vampire Hunter.

This trailer is much better.

the Bennett sisters will be throwing hands, swinging swords and busting caps in zombies asses.

Plus Tywin Lannister is their daddy.

Looks like this one's budget was smaller.

Instead, the horror take on Jane Austen’s beloved Bennett sisters claimed an estimated $5.2 million from 2,931 locations. In comparison, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (also adapted from a Grahame-Smith book) brought in $16.3 million when it opened in June 2012 – and that film is no one’s idea of a domestic hit. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies received a B- from CinemaScore and has a current Rotten Tomato rating of 40%.
