TOP 5: Your Favorite Films of 2014

We are now nearing the end of the year and a lot of films have come out but now it's time to pick your favorites. This wiki link lists every single movie release of the year. But as it turns out I really didn't see too many new movies this year and it was a rather disappointing year for releases, but alas it's still that time! I'm looking for your Top 5 only, it's gonna be a new series of threads here.

Didn't see too many films that were released this year. My fav's of the few I did see are:


22 Jump Street
Blue Ruin (2103 Cannes showing, but a 2014 US release date)
Captain America: Winter Solder
In Your Eyes (Indie Film)
Sabotage

That's not really an indication of what was awesome (though Blue Ruin truly was), but more on the limited number of 2014 films I've seen. The only other 2014 film I saw was Draft Day.

Looking at that wiki list there are plenty I want to see ... just haven't bought the Blu-Ray's yet. I'm not very current when it comes to films (or TV for that matter). Haven't stepped inside a cinema in years.

The Purge: Anarchy


That's all I got, didn't go to the cinaplex much this year.

Plan to see Selma when it hits NYC late December.
