Accidental? Yeah only if Weiland accidentally didn't do whatever other drug wasn't around him before his heart stopped. I can't feel sorry for a lifelong junkie, clearly he didn't give a fuck about anybody but himself.

Scott Weiland, the former lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, died from an overdose of alcohol, cocaine and ecstasy, according to a coroner’s report released Friday.

“[Weiland] died of mixed drug toxicity: cocaine, ethanol and methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA),” the report states. “Other significant conditions are noted as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, history of asthma and multi-substance dependence. Manner of death is accident.”

Weiland should have checked himself into the hospital for "exhaustion".

Weiland had Heroin and Coke arrests going back to the early 90's and I think he went to rehab about as many times as he was arrested.

No plans. Yet. Saved a big stack of cash this year. Would love to go on a holiday - never been outside of the country - but I'd prefer to wait until a time of the year half the world isn't doing the same thing.

That's pretty nice, Russ. Are you taking the month off to burn vacation days or are you given the time off from your job?

I just started playing The Last of Us. Taking a page from Wylde's book, I have started the game on Hard difficulty. I figure it ain'tz be no survival horror if your back isn't constantly against the wall. Sarah just died. Very intense game in the first 20 minutes. I like it so far.

I bought the game along with the DLC Left Behind for 21 bucks on PSN. I don't think it's ever been this low. Took me a better part of 7 hours to download everything given the shitty network of PSN. They need to spend more money on infrastructure. On Steam, it would only take me a little over an hour to download 30 gigs. 7 hours is bullshit.

Given the time off. I work for my Dad. Because we get so busy and rushed at the end of the year, we usually work through Christmas, and take most , if not all, of January off each year.

Odd you mention The Last of Us. I picked it up during the Black Friday sales for my PS3. Haven't played it yet. Waiting until I rearrange my place for the new TV.

Shit, I just realized I kind of posted a spoiler to the game. Well, not really that much of a spoiler I guess but it was pretty douchey of me to have posted that especially since Russ hasn't started playing the game yet. My bad, dawgz.

In better news, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is down to $14.99 at Amarzon. Looks like the price of the movie is dropping pretty nicely. Come ooooooon $7.99!

I really want to know how he managed to fuck that up. He blamed the teleprompter. I call bullshit. Even if it was the teleprompter's mistake, it doesn't take half a brain to think "Hey, my card in my hand says something thing else. Let me figure this out." Saying that on live TV is embarrassing but nowhere near as embarrassing as crowning the wrong girl. Much of his career is based off working with teleprompters so he has no excuse. What a douche.

That's a pretty massive mistake too, it wasn't a little gaffe it was a huge moment for that girl and then they yanked the crown right back off. At least she got a million dollar Vivid porn offer for her troubles.

Watching Aerial America. This episode is focusing on Colorado. The episode that just ended was about Utah. States further out west sure are beautiful. Just sucks that it's so incredibly difficult to see America this way. That is, filmed from a chopper. I wish I was Superman. Yes, I am a grown man who still wishes he was Superman. LOL

You should check out some of their Pacific Northwest episodes. Western Washington is gorgeous cause it rains here all time so everything is green but this state is loaded with some of the most beautiful things you'll ever seen. I intend to do a lot of hiking next year so I'll start posting some pics when I do.

One thing I really wanna do is hit up Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite National Park. Also check out more of Washington State. I was only lucky enough to check out Seattle. I definitely want to explore more.

The US is a tough place to check out unless you have like a month straight off from work and can take a roadtrip to check out the great places.

I have this entire week off from work (firm shutdown) but I'm choosing to work Wednesday and Thursday so I can bank two extra vacation days to use at my pleasure. But my stupid firm decided to fly us all to Dallas on Sunday to attend some bullshit seminar thing. That means my week of doing nothing is cut short by a whole day. My flight out to Dallas is at noon so I'll be at the airport at like 10am. My whole Sunday is blown. Why the hell couldn't they do this shit on January 10? Fucking assholes. Yes, it's just one day but it annoys me. I'll be flying home on Wednesday at 10pm. That's kinda okay seeing as I'll just work two days and then it's the weekend again.

Anyone else have any good plans for New Year's Eve?

HOLY FUCK!!!! I'm at the store today giving my mom the day off and guess what I found???? I HAVE THE FUCKING EL REY NETWORK!!!!!!! OMG

Currently watching Constantine. Looks like a marathon for the next few hours. Coooooooool

Law enforcement sources now tell us they've already seen more than a thousand images of "child sexual exploitation" on Salling's computer. Cops also seized other electronic devices, including tablets and cellphones. We're also told he lives alone, which will make it hard to argue someone else put the images in the computer.

Our sources say when cops arrived to search the home, Salling was "shocked."

We're also told Salling has already lawyered up.

Law enforcement sources say the images they captured from Salling's computer were children ... significantly younger than 15 and 16 year olds.

Our sources say an ex-girlfriend of Salling's tipped off cops and they investigated before the raid to make sure it wasn't a revenge allegation.
Salling has had his share of legal problems. In 2013 he was sued by a woman who claimed he committed sexual battery on her by forcing sex without a condom.

Salling denied the charge and the case settled.

Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister Dies: Legendary Motorhead Frontman Was 70

Ian Fraser Kilmister, better known to generations of music fans as Lemmy, lead singer of the hugely influential heavy metal band Motörhead whose admirers included filmmakers and musicians of all stripes, died suddenly December 28, following a diagnosis of aggressive cancer just two days earlier. He was 70.

“There is no easy way to say this… our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer,” the band said in a statement posted to their official Facebook page. “He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from The Rainbow which had recently made it’s way down the street, with his family.” The band then urged grieving fans to “play Motörhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy’s music LOUD. Have a drink or few. Share stories. Celebrate the LIFE this lovely, wonderful man celebrated so vibrantly himself.”

Born Christmas Eve in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, Lemmy grew up in postwar England and began playing in various bands as a teenager starting in 1960. He found early success in the Space Rock band Hawkwind, playing bass and occasionally singing lead from 1972 to 1975. He was fired from Hawkwind in 1975 after being arrested at the U.S./Canadian border on drug possession charges (the charges were dropped when it was discovered he wasn’t in possession of anything illegal). Soon after, he formed the band that would soon become Motörhead.

Motörhead was known for its aggressive, fast-tempo sound, extreme loudness, and deliberately rough production values that connected them with both metal and punk rock audiences. The band’s classic song “Ace of Spades” is most emblematic of the sound, and the song remains beloved to this day. Along with bands like AC/DC and Judas Priest, the band was a member of the wave of British Metal that upended the music industry in the late ’70s and paved the way for the genre’s 1980s dominance.

Lemmy remained the only constant member of the group, and was known for his growling singing style, his heavy drinking and his famous mutton chops, his signature positioning of the microphone so that he looked up to sing, and for his cultivated notoriety, helped along by his controversial collection of Nazi memorabilia, among other things.

Lemmy also made infrequent appearances in television and film. Among them, he had a cameo in the 1990 science fiction film Hardware, which also featured “Ace Of Spades,” and a featured appearance in The Decline of Western Civilization II: The Metal Years. Motörhead also notably appeared on an episode of the British cult comedy The Young Ones, and the 1994 film Airheads. As news of his passing spread, tributes from his peers and those he influenced poured out.

This Mark Salling arrest keeps getting worse, apparently the majority of the girls in the thousands of images they found on his computer so far were under the age of 10. We've got another Subway Jared here and they've yet to go through several of his other electronic devices so I imagine it's going to keep getting a lot worse.

Currently in Dallas attending "Forensic Services University" presented by my firm. This is stupid. I thought it would be a time to chill and hang out with people but I have 11 hours of bullshit I have to attend Monday and Tuesday. Then some more bullshit until 3pm on Wednesday before I can take a shuttle aaaaaaaaaaall the way back to the airport and then get home Wednesday night at midnight just go to back to work on Thursday morning. On top of that, I had to download some bullshit app because these assholes couldn't just give me my personal agenda via email.
