Re: Random Thoughts
I think the gun itself cost like $1,000 but the cost of licensing was about 700 or 800. Yea, NYC is a little different than most other states.
I saw a guy with an XD at the range. How are those guns? They sure look cool.
I want to try shooting the HK P30L (40 calibur, please) after seeing them in John Wick. I'll even shoot it utilizing the Center Axis Relock system. I'll take down bad guys all day long!

Yeah our licensing fees would be the $60 it costs to get your CPL if you want to legally carry. Though while you can pay to legally hide your gun you don't have to, you also have the option to just buy the gun and open carry on your hip on full display of everybody for free, cause thats our law, lol.

Speaking of guns, Capital One is a cool bank.
I recently received notification my Premier Checking Account was being discontinued and would be converted to a regular checking account. My Premier account earned miles (points) while the new account does not. This was supposed to be a whole branch thing and was not because I did anything wrong.
Anyway, I had enough points to redeem for a 50 dollar AMC theater gift card and a $25 dollar card. The points cost was 7,500 points for $50 gift card and 5,000 points for $25. I had about 13,900 points. So I called Capital One and asked how I can earn 1,100 points as fast as possible. Maybe if I can buy the miles. I figured buying miles might be cheaper than $25 dollars so I might still be able to still come out on top with getting the $50 gift cards. The lady on the phone says "You can't buy the miles but I can give them to you. How many do you need?"
Short story even shorter, I have just received my sweet gift cards. $100 bucks worth! Can see some good matinees to get the most out of 'em. Woo woo

FitBit is surprisingly good at keeping me very active, I don't want to disappoint the little digital face. Damn my Giga Pet upbringing!!! At least it's paying off, I'm in better shape now than when I was in high school, thank you GigaFit.

You'd better get moving or you're gonna get crushed again in the stats and I'm headed to the gym for a quick workout.
Right now I'm sitting at a little over twenty miles over these last three days but I'd like to be north of forty by the time the current week's tracking ends on Saturday.
You're locked in a room with a suit and tie in the city while I'm working from my home in the country, which allows me to begin most of my mornings with a run in the woods behind my house, I also bring along my old rottweiler so she can get her exercise too.

Playboy is going PG? The fuck is that about? I'd be sad except the internet exists and I haven't looked at a Playboy in 15 years.

Here's the thing...the Internet. Whoever's been reading Playboy for the last decade or more has legitimately been reading it for the articles cause you can find pictures (and way more) online super easy.

I don't know about recently, but back in the day (before our time) they used to publish some really good shit. I think I've watched a couple documentaries about Hef and he was pretty progressive.

Picked this up this earlier, these things have come so far from the old two handle grip. Been messing around with the functions and exercises with this and I'm impressed.

I fractured my middle finger along time ago and it never healed right giving me constant pain when I use my dominant hand so I'm hoping this will help rehab it. Makes weight training and boxing really hard whenever I land a punch or grip too tight and I feel that finger start to give, I lose so much power in my hand and sometimes can't use it without icing it for hours. I've seen this Sthrengthener around MMA a lot and it seems to be highly recommended. I like that it works not only your hand but you wrists and forearms too. Something you can do while walking or watching tv. I paid $17 through Amazon so it's cheap but it doesn't feel made that way.
I also bought one of the King Athletic Cable Ropes but really this marketing video is just worth watching for the women working out, don't expect to see more than a still image of the cable, lol.

You guys been getting the pop up update to Windows 10? It's free to upgrade until June 2016 I think. I'm considering it but has anyone actually done it. I don't like the look of the apps but I guess it's the future and I'm curious to how much lighter and faster it runs than Windows 7.

I've heard good and bad. Still deciding whether to make the switch or not. Windows 7 is still me favorite OS so far.
WyldeMan wrote:Shiiiiiiiiiiiit, I'm still running Windows 7 with no plans to upgrade.
I'm running 7 too. Been looking at the performance and reviews and just wanted to know if any of you guys upgraded already.

Yes, Reformat. I re-install windows once a year. I have three physical hard drives with four partitions. One of them being 30 gigs solely for Windows. I don't lose any of my music or photos. : )

Re: Random Thoughts
Windows operating systems, in my experience, tend to slow down over time through normal usage. Installing, uninstalling, reinstalling etc. That's the reason I tend to reformat every year. It makes my computer feel brand new every year. Of course, "brand new" is only relatively speaking considering new hardware coming out each year. I haven't reformatted my computer in about two years now. I didn't do it in 2015 for some reason.

Do you use normal hard drive or SSD? I have my OS installed on SSD, boots up in seconds.

I use a normal hard drive. It spins at an extreme 7,200 RPM's.
I was going to buy an SSD this year, too, but somehow that went out the window, too. lol

Actually Demi made her debut on RR's From Dusk Til Dawn TV series last week. She's dating Wilmer Valderrama so she's now joined the cast as his character's woman too. RR debuted her video right after the episode to coincide with her character's unmasking since we didn't see her face until last night on the show since she always wore her motorcycle helmet. You should check the show out, FB and and I are always discussing it.

Dusk is pure Grindhouse and a lot of fun. I did not think the series was going to work but it's the most fun show that I watch. I always know it's gonna be a good time, I can't think of another series I can watch like that.
I've heard Demi's name a lot over the last few but before last night's episode, I don't think I could have actually placed her and still have no idea what she even sounds like.
Wilmer has been a lot of fun on Dusk, he makes a really amusing villain.

Nice return.
Haven't watched at all this year, have they brought back Hardcore matches yet? That would make me watch again.

Haha I don't recall "hardcore" matches in a looong time. A while back Vince McMahon insisted on turning the show PG-13. I mean, some matches are still pretty brutal but they toned down the violence a lot. I know what I'm writing probably makes little sense but if you watch a couple episodes you will see what I mean.
One really annoying thing is they started to incorporate "shakycam" or what I call "zoom-in-zoom-out cam". What I mean is when someone is getting a beatdown, the cameraman will start panning up and down and zooming in and out. It's really, really annoying. I hate that crap. I have to look away from the TV when the start doing that shit. Whoever thought to start doing that needs to be forced to watch his own creation A Clockwork Orange style. Loop that shit for 10 hours and pry his eyes open.

Decided to check it out, you weren't kidding. Sideshow Bob murdered Bart and played with his organs and wore the corpse like a backpack then Weekend at Bernied him before going the Frankenstein route and that was like ten minutes in.

I liked the Chronicle story. That was pretty funny. I should watch The Simpsons more often. Been so long since I've watched the show. I guess if I always watched it I might feel like the show is stale after so many seasons but maybe not watching was a good thing in my case.

Right after I posted I quit watching. Haven't seen an episode in probably over ten years but it just wasn't really doing much to hold my attention, found myself quickly bored.
