Oscar Winners 2015: The Complete List
The 87th Oscars ended with a flourish tonight as Fox Searchlight’s Birdman won Best Picture, one of four of its victories on the night. Lead Actor was a two horse race, with Redmayne and Keaton.
So no shock there, still LMAO @ Bradley Cooper losing!
Very happy for JK and Julianne Moore.
NPH should stick with The Emmys and Tonys.

I tuned in mostly towards the end for the actor/actress lead.
On other note, just saw an article on Yahoo about Sean Penn taking some heat about a Green Card joke and I happened to catch that part on TV. I don't know what he was thinking. Not cool nor appropriate!

Clearly you don't know what's going on and had the same reaction as so many others, instant offense, it's the American way. Sean was about to announce Inarritu for Birdman and said “Who gave this son of a bitch his green card?" and in typical response, the interwebs revolted. Instant twitter hate capaigns and angry blogging. Apparently they don't remember Sean and Inarritu made 21 Grams together back in '03 and it was a joke, it wasn't meant to be offensive, they're actually really friendly, afterwards Inarritu told reports backstage he thought it was hilarious.

Well, not everyone is going to KNOW that and I certainly didn't. I watched it on TV as it happened and they hugged, he thanked him and of course they were smiling but that's not how everyone watching is going to see it. For a live televised event across the nation, not a good joke.

But that's because offense is the always the first reaction. While obviously it was a stupid joke to make, he's Sean Penn. The man has been publicly saying every thought in his head for 30 years, you would think at this point people would no longer be shocked or offended by anything Sean Penn says but if they weren't, they wouldn't have anything to blog about.

Really? So, he's said some stupid shit in the past? I didn't know that about him, I don't really pay attention to that sort of stuff. This just happened to be something I witnessed and people are talking about.
